Yate railway station
Yate station is on the former Midland Railway Bristol to Gloucester line. The first railway station here opened in 1844 and closed in 1965. A new station was opened in 1989 with one platform south of the road bridge (on its original site) and a new platform for southbound trains and a car park north of the bridge.
