Conjoined barrows
Conjoined barrows
The ancient (Bronze Age?) pair of burial barrows on Felton Common are a pretty rare feature, in that they are conjoined. They are approximately 18m (60ft) in diameter and have a shallow ditch surrounding them. Currently there is some barrier tape in place to prevent visitors walking over them as erosion is becoming a problem.
