Looking up at Goat Island
Looking up at Goat Island
This photograph, on the Lyme Regis Undercliff looks up to the cliffs of Goat Island. Goat Island is not really an island but the result of a "Block Slide" landslide in 1839 where a large block of land moved bodily towards the sea leaving cliffs on all sides of it. This photograph is of the seaward side cliff.
