Brooklands motor and aircraft museum
On this site the first motor racing circuit with steep banked bends was built in 1907. It also became the site for the development of the Wellington Bomber during WWII. It is also associated with motorbike racing and cycling.
Other, more modern planes were developed here too such as the VC10 and a lot of work for the Concorde was done here.
