"Disused" Chalk pit

This is a disused chalk pit to the north of Middleton on the Wolds. As can be seen from the pictute a new wheel wash has been installed - although no weighbridge. A recent application for tipping "inert" waste had - I thought - been turned down. Time for a bit of research.
