SE3693 : Barkers Arcade

taken 12 years ago, near to Northallerton, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Barkers Arcade
Barkers Arcade
The arcade provides a covered walkway from the large free Applegarth car park into the town. It follows the long narrow linear burgage plots that form the town from mediaeval times (though this is modern). On the left is Barkers departmental store. The arcade includes several shops on the right hand side and emerges in the High Street under the Barkers Clock opposite the Black Bull.
