This photo shows the railway line from Leeds looking West towards Laisterdyke and Bradford at Dick Lane. In the distance can be seen the bridge at New Lane. On the left of the photo can be seen new houses where the former railway line to Dewsbury and Wakefield used to turn off and run via Dudley Hill and Drighlington until July 1966.
