The southern end of the reservoir is visible beyond Glyn Collwn. The Taff Trail runs 55 miles from Cardiff to Brecon and provides varied scenery for walkers and cyclists. Here the trail follows the old railway track from Merthyr to Brecon, which can be seen skirting the reservoir half way up the hill ahead.
