Explosives Hut
Explosives Hut
One of the buildings on the old Cookes Explosives site, formerly used for preparing and packaging explosives. The grey stone wall is a blast barrier, about 10ft thick. The brick built hut has a 'floating' roof, so that any explosion would dissipate upwards, rather than outwards.
