SO8551 : A4440 at the Carrington bridge

taken 11 years ago, near to Powick, Worcestershire, Great Britain

A4440 at the Carrington bridge
A4440 at the Carrington bridge
The Worcester southern bypass is always busy as traffic queues over the 'new bridge'. The land here is completely flooded following the wettest June day on record the day before. This flood plain is often under water in the winter/spring, but this is the first time this road has experienced a summer flood. The Malvern Hills on the horizon.
