TG0145 : The Saltmarshes South of The Hood on Blakeney Point
near to Morston, Norfolk, Great Britain

The Saltmarshes South of The Hood on Blakeney Point
The marshes here form part of the North Norfolk Coast Nature Reserve. This view looks across Green Leaf Creek and over the Blakeney Channel towards Blakeney, over to the left, where the tower of the church can be seen on the skyline. The marshes here are very wet, especially near the top of a rising tide, necessitating on this occasion a hasty retreat from 40m within the marsh south of The Hood! No time to wait for the sun to come out again!
