Walkington Heads
Walkington Heads
Oak tree on the roadside near the junction of Burton Gates and Walkington Heads, on the parish boundary between Walkington and Bishop Burton. The dead branches on trees such as this apparently occur due to 'drought stress' in times when the water table is particularly low.
