This road was always called the Roman Road which raises the question: from whence did the term "Sabrina road" originate? Where is Sabrina? Although it was called the Roman Road we understood that this road goes back to pre-history: indeed, it traverses an iron age fort. Which begs the questions: why did prehistoric people build this raod, where did it start and where did it end and what did they carry along it?
