Wylye Down, near Wylye
Looking east from a track beside the A303 trunk road, across a wheat field and a dry chalk valley to western side of Wylye Down (pronounced 'Why-lee'). Part of the down is a National Nature Reserve, which straddles both this grid square and the next, see LinkExternal link. Apart from its wildlife interest the reserve is also important for the remains of an ancient field system preserved on the site.
