Hawkesbury Junction 1978 (1)
Straight on past the engine house the Coventry Canal leads to Nuneaton. Behind the photographer the canal leads to the dead end of Bishop Street Basin in the centre of Coventry. Traffic coming off the northern section of the Coventry Canal and wishing to proceed onto the Oxford Canal must make the difficult turn under the roving bridge.
