SK7985 : Site of Low Farm, West Burton

taken 11 years ago, near to Bole, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Site of Low Farm, West Burton
Site of Low Farm, West Burton
This was the last remains of the community of West Burton, and was basically cut off by the construction of the Power Station. Some dilapidated walls, this fine ornamental pine tree and a ha-ha (just visible under the hawthorn bush at the right of the picture) are all that remains to identify the main farm buildings, although an isolated Dutch barn is still in use.
