SE2768 : Damage to the Cloister path

taken 11 years ago, near to Aldfield, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Damage to the Cloister path.
Damage to the Cloister path.
After the river topped its banks, it flowed into the cellarium through many doors, but had only one exit into the cloister. It gouged out a 3ft deep trench, and deposited sand and silt up the wall and onto the grass. Part of the medieval floor can be seen.
