Dismantled railway looking north 3
Dismantled railway looking north 3
This almost dismantled single track railway line was once a branch of the Great Central Railway, which when it opened in 1899 was the last main line twin track railway to be built, see SP7021 : Dismantled railway looking north 1.

This photograph shows only the sleepers remaining just before the former junction with the other branch of the line, which can just be seen between the trees in the distance, see SP7021 : Former railway junction.
