Woodland in North Hoy
Woodland in North Hoy
This is one of the very few woods in Orkney. It is a mix of conifers and deciduous trees but the windfall conifers are slowly being replaced by native deciduous from nearby Berriedale. The road connects North Hoy to Rackwick. The cliffs in the background are the Dwarfie Hamars.
