Church of St Michael and All Angels, Braydeston
St Michael's church stands in an isolated spot at the end of a farm track, not far distant from Blofield. The interior > Link - Link is rather narrow and was restored in the early 19th century. The east window > Link depicts Faith, Hope and Charity; it was installed as a war memorial in the 1920s. Part of the rood screen is original and delicately carved > Link - Link - it can be dated to the year 1489. There is a rare stone shelf next to the piscina > Link. The font > Link is very unusual also; it dates from c. 1340. The church is kept locked. For more information see: LinkExternal link
