The tidal River Hull between Drypool and North Bridges
North Bridge in the distance is currently undergoing painting and repairs and this is why it's in its lifted position. There are ambitious plans to put a lock at the mouth of the River Hull several hundred metres south of here to make the whole of the River Hull non-tidal.
