The A6005 :: SK4733

The A6005 is a route which runs between Broadmarsh, Nottingham and Spondon to the east of Derby. It is roughly parallel with and to the south of, the Nottingham to Derby section of the A52 trunk road. It runs through quite a few towns and villages, but most of its length is built-up with the boundaries between the various places obscure. Exceptions to this are two strips of green-belt; a very thin one between Toton and Long Eaton where it crosses the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border over the River Erewash and a more substantial patch of fields between Draycott and Borrowash which is the separation between the Nottingham and Derby urban areas.
