TG0242 : Bridleway by the esker

taken 8 years ago, near to Blakeney, Norfolk, England

Bridleway by the esker
Bridleway by the esker
The esker is made of sediment left by an under-glacier river, probably about 450,000 years ago during the Anglian glaciation (which extended to approximately the current route of the Thames), though there is still some uncertainty.
