This National Trust Welcome notice board located adjacent to the Norfolk Coast Path tells us that "You are standing near the Roman beach where naval and trading vessels would have landed. The fort stood in the field beyond the one in front of you." By following a path nearby it is possible to see the main fort enclosure and another information board.
