NS3313 : A dun by the Doon

taken 8 years ago, near to Minishant, South Ayrshire, Scotland

A dun by the Doon
A dun by the Doon
The rounded shape to the right of centre is a prehistoric dun. The river has eroded part of the bank on the left but, so far, the dun has survived. A mid-April view with foliage only just opening out.
