Looking across the River Dart from the gardens of Greenway House, the "beach" is known as Parson's Mud. There are a few houses beyond, on the edge of Dittisham
River Dart

The River Dart rises at Lower White Tor on Dartmoor and flows generally SE to its mouth at Dartmouth. Its valley and surrounding area is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The river's mouth is an excellent example of a Ria (drowned river valley).
