Crane past the trees
The crane is working on the far side of the A34 lifting in parts used in the building of the bridge over the bridleway under the Chilton Interchange
The Chilton Interchange :: SU4886
In January 2014 Oxfordshire CC announced a consultation for a new Chilton interchange. The Government were putting up £10 million towards it and the rest to be met from OCC. The interchange is badly needed for the Harwell science complex as there is no exit from the southbound side or entry on the northbound side of the old interchange. Link
I intend to follow the work being done weekly until its completion in 2016.
The Interchanged opened on the 10th November 2016
