SP5749 : Railway at Moreton Pinkney

Railway at Moreton Pinkney
Railway at Moreton Pinkney
This is the former line from the hub of the Great Central line at Woodford Halse to Towcester and Roade where it joined the LMS line. One of the crop of late railway mania lines in this area that were never going to be viable. The map seems to show tracks still existing on this part, but this is an illusion caused by the symbol for parish boundary running directly on top of the symbol for disused railway. There are no rails, as can be seen.
