NO3461 : Ewes and lambs grazing

taken 11 years ago, near to Easter Lednathie, Angus, Great Britain

Ewes and lambs grazing.
Ewes and lambs grazing.
The sheep were grazing the heather covered slopes of Long Goat. The area being grazed appeared to have been cut back, rather than burned. Burning is the normal practice in this area, to allow the young shoots to emerge for the grouse.
