Headwaters of the Cherwell
Headwaters of the Cherwell
This twisty stream can be clearly seen on the map. It is one of the many streams that form the River Cherwell, flowing south-west towards Banbury then to the Thames at Oxford. The arable fields hereabouts have a wide light woodland margin immediately adjacent to the stream.
