Pool of London
Pool of London
The Pool of London is the name given to the stretch of the Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge; it is seen here from London Bridge. One of the almost continuous parade of trip boats heads upstream - note the rather ungainly shape of this vessel designed to accommodate as many tourists as possible. The tall ship moored alongside HMS Belfast is the Stavros S. Niarchos, a 60 metre square rigged ship owned by the Tall Ships Youth Trust.
