Approach to a triangulation pillar!
Approach to a triangulation pillar!
This trig pillar is about 50 yards from a main road through a patch of widely spaced trees. There are tree branches down to ground level and a thick carpet of dead twigs and undergrowth. The pillar is in the centre of the picture about 20 yards away and with almost its full height visible!
