Former Stratford Market station in 1965
Former Stratford Market station in 1965
A view of the signal gantries at the north end of the former Stratford Market station, controlling the approach to Stratford low-level station. Taken through the front windows of a diesel multiple unit in August 1965. The building behind the signals is the former station building, by then in use as offices. A view of the same area in 2012 can be found at TQ3884 : Stratford High Street station; the building has been considerably tidied up but is clearly the same one!
