Wassell Wood
Wassell Wood
This is inside a medieval earthwork at the top of the woods. Henry IV is thought to have used this spot as an over winter post in 1405 and 1406 when he occupied Worcester to hold up forces of the legendary Welsh hero Owen Glyn Dwr.
