The Half Moon Public House, Wilstone
The Half Moon Public House, Wilstone
It is not certain that this is the Wilstone alehouse run by William Smith, but it is first recorded by name in 1751. It is still going strong - and I enjoy its good food and friendly atmosphere - with an open log fire in the winter.
