New Barn Farm is in the dip between two scarp ridges towards the southern edge of the square. We are looking south from a junction of paths in the middle of the square. Grassland this side (south-facing), arable the far side (north-facing. A picture taken in the other direction from the ridge on the horizon is here. SZ4682 : Towards New Barn Farm. New Barn Farm should not be confused with Newbarn Farm, 2km away the other side of Newbarn Down (which must relate to the other farm).
