Canal Barges on the Aylesbury Canal at Wilstone
Canal Barges on the Aylesbury Canal at Wilstone, taken 8 years ago
From Bridge 4 SP9014 : Aylesbury Arm: Wooden Footbridge over Canal (Bridge No 4), looking west towards Lock 9 SP9014 : Aylesbury Arm: Gudgeon Stream Lock (No 9) and Bridge 5 SP9014 : Aylesbury Arm: Gudgeon Stream Bridge (No 5).
The area on the left was almost certainly the main canal wharf for the hamlet of Wilstone during the 19th century.
The nearest of the three barges in called "Argy Bargy."
