Common mallow (Malva sylvestris)
Common mallow (Malva sylvestris)
This common wild flower can grow very tall and bushy if in a sheltered spot. This one was about 1 metre high. The darker lines on the petals are a guide to pollinating insects, especially bees. It has many traditional uses, see LinkExternal link
