Nan Scott's Chamber
Nan Scott's Chamber
Above the south porch of St.Giles' church is a room known as 'Nan Scott's chamber' - local legend says that Nan Scott sought refuge here during the great plague of 1666 and emerged to the outside world to find most of the village dead and buried.
