The 'Woolly Sheep' public house, Sheep Street, Skipton, Yorkshire
Whoever heard of a sheep that was not woolly? Many years ago, this pub was called 'The Yorkshireman', a fine name to be proud of. However, the silly name excepted, this is a fine pub, with Timothy Taylor's Landlord ale, surely a leading contender for best beer in the world, as well as a selection of good food.
