Albert Dock scene, Liverpool
This footbridge is over the entrance to Albert dock by Hartley Quay. In the middle distance is the Pumphouse Inn, which originally held pumping equipment to create high-pressure water to drive the new (1878) hydraulic hoists and "jiggers" (pulleys) for improved cargo handling.
