Foula Primary School and Community Centre
The classroom occupies a small part of this complex. The largest space is a Community Hall where teas are served to passing cruise ships and there is a good exhibition of Foula's assets. The school roll is one, with one teacher. The buildings house the island's electricity supply, currently depending on solar panels, batteries and a diesel generator. The island's wind turbines are now wrecks on the ground after severe battering by the weather.
The earlier schoolhouse is mostly a ruin.
