Birmingham Town Hall
Designed by Joseph Aloysius Hansom and Edward Welch in 1832, and modelled on the temple of Castor and Pollux in the Roman Forum, this was for many years the venue for the Birmingham Music Festival and the home of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The facing stone is Anglesey marble.
