A fireplace? at the site of Strange Clough Farm on the south side of the old Grane Road (old Grane Road was known here as Stoney Rake though if there ever was a stone surfae it is now deeply covered with mud). Strange Clough Farm was also known as Stryne Clough and formed part of the hamlet of Slate Pits
