Old Dee Bridge Buttresses
Old Dee Bridge Buttresses
A view over the side of the Old Dee Bridge looking towards Handbridge. The bridge supports are shaped to divide the water as it flows under the bridge thus lessening the water pressure on the bridge structure. They also provide a useful refuge so that you can stand out of the way of traffic or pedestrians.
