Narthecium ossifragum. Llafn y bladur. Bog asphodel
A very common plant on the wetter part of the moors. Once thought to infect sheep with foot rot - hence its Latin name which means "bone breaker". Variously known in Welsh as Llafn y bladur (scythe's blade) and Gwayw'r brenin (king's braxy)
