Slate gravestones in St Botolph's Churchyard, Newton
There is some Norman work in St Botolph's Church. The tower is Early English, while the bell-stage is Perpendicular. There was Victorian restoration in the 1860s. There are some fine slate gravestones in the churchyard. As always they are attractive and, above all, still easy to read.
