SE2436 : The River Aire at Kirkstall Forge

taken 1 year ago, near to Horsforth, Leeds, Great Britain

The River Aire at Kirkstall Forge
The River Aire at Kirkstall Forge
Near where the new road bends to the left to follow the bank of the River Aire.
The road opened to traffic on the 16th or 17th June 2016, and has no signs to show its name yet.
The river is 2 to 3 metres below the road level, but it is prone to flood during the winter so I hope the road is high enough.
The new metal structure is a support for one of several platforms that will be built over the river.
