2002 : Newark Nether Lock
2002 : Newark Nether Lock
Approaching Nether Lock from the north (downstream) on the River Trent.
Although the river has not been tidal since Cromwell Lock it can still be difficult to negotiate when there is "plenty of fresh" - when water levels are high due to rain.
