Grummore Settlement
Grummore Settlement
This is a part of a ruined (clearance) village at Grummore, showing a house site. A lot of the villages in the area were cleared of people to make way for sheep farming in the early 19th Century. The trail (about 2/3 mile) is part of The Strathnaver Trails and can be accessed at Grummore on the B873 by Loch Naver.
